Non-performing loans reached BTN 3.87 bil in first quarter of 2012 in Bhutan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 136% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans in Bhutan reached an all time high of BTN 3.99 bil in 2Q2009 and an all time low of BTN 1.59 bil in 4Q2009.
