Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans reached 5.42% in fourth quarter of 2023 in Papua New Guinea, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.87% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Papua New Guinea reached an all time high of 6.29% in 2Q2022 and an all time low of 1.59% in 3Q2013.
