Non-performing loans as a share of bank assets reached 5.03% in first quarter of 2021 in India, according to the National Central Bank. This is 7.37% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank assets in India reached an all time high of 6.65% in 2Q2018 and an all time low of 1.20% in 1Q2009.
