Non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 34.2% in first quarter of 2021 in Tanzania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.36% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Tanzania reached an all time high of 47.5% in 3Q2017 and an all time low of 21.4% in 4Q2013.
