Non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 41.5% in first quarter of 2012 in Bhutan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 26.5% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Bhutan reached an all time high of 102% in 2Q2009 and an all time low of 29.7% in 4Q2010.
