Based on a comparison of 48 countries in 2020, Canada ranked the highest in newsprint paper production with 2,093,279 kt followed by Japan and Russia. On the other end of the scale was Honduras with 46.0 kt, Uzbekistan with 193 kt and Madagascar with 238 kt.
