Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2021, Iceland ranked the highest in new dwellings completed as a percentage of total dwellings with 2.61% followed by Australia and Poland. On the other end of the scale was Bulgaria with 0.098%, Greece with 0.203% and Portugal with 0.289%.
