Net Public Debt (Local Currency) in Taiwan

Net public debt reached TWD 3,597 bil in 2027 in Taiwan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 8.82% less than in the previous year.

Historically, net public debt in Taiwan reached an all time high of TWD 6,081 bil in 2020 and an all time low of TWD 1,645 bil in 1998.

Taiwan has been ranked 26th within the group of 83 countries we follow in terms of net public debt.
