Net Public Debt (Local Currency) in Cyprus

Net public debt reached EUR 11.9 bil in 2021 in Cyprus, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.46% more than in the previous year.

Historically, net public debt in Cyprus reached an all time high of EUR 16.3 bil in 2015 and an all time low of EUR 3.87 bil in 1998.

Cyprus has been ranked 76th within the group of 87 countries we follow in terms of net public debt.
