Indigenous mutton & goat meat production reached 1,008 kt in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 3.52% more than in the previous year.

Historically, indigenous mutton & goat meat production in the European Union reached an all time high of 1,495 kt in 1991 and an all time low of 846 kt in 1963.
