Mushroom and truffle production reached 1,971,555 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 3.76% more than in the previous year.
Historically, mushroom and truffle production in the European Union reached an all time high of 2,104,424 tonnes in 2012 and an all time low of 94,343 tonnes in 1961.
