Mortgage loans as a share of bank loans reached 5.06% in fourth quarter of 2021 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.17% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, mortgage loans as a share of bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 8.38% in 4Q2014 and an all time low of 5.06% in 4Q2021.
Uganda has been ranked 55th within the group of 62 countries we follow in terms of mortgage loans as a share of bank loans.
