Mortgage loans as a share of bank loans reached 23.5% in 2021 in Latvia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 35.7% less than in the previous year.
Historically, mortgage loans as a share of bank loans in Latvia reached an all time high of 36.5% in 2020 and an all time low of 2.38% in 1997.
