Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2016, Norway ranked the highest in Mean and median income by household type - Two adults, at least one aged 65 years or over - Mean equivalised net income - Euro with 46,322 Euro followed by Luxembourg and Switzerland. On the other end of the scale was Macedonia with 2,717 Euro, Romania with 3,014 Euro and Serbia with 3,379 Euro.
