Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2016, Switzerland ranked the highest in Mean and median income by household type - Total - Mean equivalised net income - Euro with 45,425 Euro followed by Norway and Luxembourg. On the other end of the scale was Macedonia with 2,447 Euro, Romania with 2,747 Euro and Serbia with 3,003 Euro.
