Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2022, Australia ranked the highest in lupin production with 957,500 tonnes followed by Poland and Russia. On the other end of the scale was Romania with 30.0 tonnes, Lebanon with 99.9 tonnes and Latvia with 100 tonnes.
