Lignite coal production reached 18,888 kt in 2015 in Thailand, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.70% less than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in Thailand reached an all time high of 25,837 kt in 1997 and an all time low of 1,618 kt in 1980.
