Lignite coal production reached 241,236 kt in 2015 in China, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.50% more than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in China reached an all time high of 241,454 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 25,783 kt in 1981.
