Based on a comparison of 18 countries in 2012, Japan ranked the highest in life insurance policies with 127,210 '000 followed by South Korea and Argentina. On the other end of the scale was Montenegro with 35.4 '000, Moldova with 42.9 '000 and Albania with 86.4 '000.
