Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2014, India ranked the highest in Jute & Jute-like Fibres - Area harvested with 828,496 ha followed by Bangladesh and Myanmar. On the other end of the scale was Bhutan with 85.0 ha, Peru with 171 ha and Cameroon with 244 ha.
