Iron ore production reached 11,607 kt in 2015 in Mauritania, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 12.8% less than in the previous year.
Historically, iron ore production in Mauritania reached an all time high of 13,306 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 6,934 kt in 1978.
