Based on a comparison of 48 countries in 2015, China ranked the highest in iron ore production with 1,381,288 kt followed by Australia and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was Ecuador with 0.408 kt, Uganda with 9.00 kt and Thailand with 16.5 kt.
