Interest Rate on Bank Loans (Local Currency) in Uganda

Interest rate on bank loans reached 19.8% in 2018 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.73% less than in the previous year.

Historically, interest rate on bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 40.0% in 1989 and an all time low of 12.0% in 1980.

Uganda has been ranked 11th within the group of 105 countries we follow in terms of interest rate on bank loans.
