Interest rate on bank deposits reached 0.419% in third quarter of 2015 in Japan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 10.7% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, interest rate on bank deposits in Japan reached an all time high of 5.07% in 4Q1991 and an all time low of 0.027% in 1Q2002.
