Interest payments on government debt reached EUR 0.454 bil in 2020 in Cyprus, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 10.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Cyprus reached an all time high of EUR 0.817 bil in 2008 and an all time low of EUR 0.004 bil in 1972.
