Interest Payments on Government Debt (As % of Government Expense) in Zambia

Interest payments on government debt as a share of government expense reached 32.5% in 2020 in Zambia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 22.6% less than in the previous year.

Historically, interest payments on government debt as a share of government expense in Zambia reached an all time high of 42.0% in 2019 and an all time low of 6.44% in 2011.
