Based on a comparison of 20 countries in 2016, Germany ranked the highest in imports of bottled wine with 713 1,000 hl followed by Netherlands and Ireland. On the other end of the scale was Hungary with 0.900 1,000 hl, Cyprus with 3.36 1,000 hl and Bulgaria with 7.00 1,000 hl.
