Horse Meat Production in European Union

Horse meat production reached 80,374 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 5.19% more than in the previous year.

Historically, horse meat production in the European Union reached an all time high of 282,138 tonnes in 1961 and an all time low of 74,261 tonnes in 2010.
