Based on a comparison of 12 countries in 2017, Germany ranked the highest in Hops - Area (cultivation/harvested/production) with 18.7 1,000 ha followed by Czechia and Slovenia. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 0.010 1,000 ha, Portugal with 0.010 1,000 ha and Slovakia with 0.140 1,000 ha.
