Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2022, Romania ranked the highest in home ownership as a percentage of all dwellings with 95.3% followed by Hungary and Croatia. On the other end of the scale was Czechia with < 0.001%, Switzerland with 42.2% and Germany with 49.1%.
