Based on a comparison of 22 countries in 2012, Germany ranked the highest in Health Care Expenditure per Capita - Retail sale and other providers of medical goods (Purchasing Power Standard) with 707 Purchasing power standard (PPS) per inhabitant followed by France and Canada. On the other end of the scale was Romania with 219 Purchasing power standard (PPS) per inhabitant, Cyprus with 239 Purchasing power standard (PPS) per inhabitant and Estonia with 262 Purchasing power standard (PPS) per inhabitant.
