Hardboard production reached 2,921 '000 cbm in 2015 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 0.946% more than in the previous year.

Historically, hardboard production in the European Union reached an all time high of 4,197 '000 cbm in 2006 and an all time low of 1,602 '000 cbm in 1996.
