Based on a comparison of 87 countries in 2019, China ranked the highest in Hard Coal Consumption (TJ) with 2,085,916 terajoules followed by Vietnam and South Korea. On the other end of the scale was Kenya with 0.083 terajoules, Hong Kong with < 0.001 terajoules and Sri Lanka with 1.19 terajoules.
