Based on a comparison of 27 countries in 2014, Germany ranked the highest in greenhouse gas emissions from fuel combustion in public electricity and heat production with 318 Mt followed by Poland and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 0.003 Mt, Luxembourg with 0.721 Mt and Malta with 1.61 Mt.
