Government Expenditure (As % of GDP)

Based on a comparison of 165 countries in 2027, East Timor ranked the highest in government expenditure as a share of GDP with 76.1% followed by France and Belgium. On the other end of the scale was Somalia with 6.56%, Turkmenistan with 9.79% and Sudan with 11.5%.
