Based on a comparison of 23 countries in 2016, Turkey ranked the highest in number of goats with 10,345 '000 followed by Spain and Romania. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 4.97 '000, Latvia with 13.2 '000 and Lithuania with 13.4 '000.
