Foreign debt reached USD 44,943 bil in 2021 in Bulgaria, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.19% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Bulgaria reached an all time high of USD 55,683 bil in 2009 and an all time low of USD 773 bil in 1981.
