Foreign debt reached USD 14,645 bil in 2021 in Azerbaijan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 7.38% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Azerbaijan reached an all time high of USD 16,211 bil in 2018 and an all time low of USD 35.5 bil in 1993.
Azerbaijan has been ranked 56th within the group of 111 countries we follow in terms of foreign debt.
