Foreign debt as a share of gdp reached 69.6% in 2011 in Bulgaria, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 28.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt as a share of GDP in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 468% in 1991 and an all time low of 2.21% in 1981.
