Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in final stocks of wine with 51,546 1,000 hl followed by Italy and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 30.3 1,000 hl, Ireland with 53.1 1,000 hl and Poland with 63.0 1,000 hl.
