Based on a comparison of 11 countries in 1999, Italy ranked the highest in final stocks of table red and rose wine with 8,989 1,000 hl followed by France and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with 3.00 1,000 hl, Finland with 8.00 1,000 hl and Netherlands with 30.0 1,000 hl.
