Based on a comparison of 24 countries in 2017, Germany ranked the highest in number of fattening pigs livestock 50-80 kg with 5,561 '000 followed by Spain and Denmark. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 9.05 '000, Luxembourg with 16.7 '000 and Slovenia with 35.7 '000.
