Based on a comparison of 14 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in exports of bottled PGI wine with 3,641 1,000 hl followed by Italy and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with 0.210 1,000 hl, Cyprus with 0.300 1,000 hl and Romania with 0.700 1,000 hl.
