Eu asylum applicants by country of origin reached 760 persons in 2014 in Kazakhstan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 18.7% less than in the previous year.
Historically, EU asylum applicants by country of origin in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 1,180 persons in 2012 and an all time low of 555 persons in 2008.
