Eu asylum applicants by country of origin reached 21,365 persons in 2014 in Iraq, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 98.9% more than in the previous year.
Historically, EU asylum applicants by country of origin in Iraq reached an all time high of 27,655 persons in 2008 and an all time low of 10,740 persons in 2013.
