Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2014, Denmark ranked the highest in total environmental taxes as a share of GDP with 4.08% followed by Serbia and Slovenia. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 1.69%, Lithuania with 1.70% and Slovakia with 1.79%.
