Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2014, Serbia ranked the highest in energy taxes as a share of GDP with 3.41% followed by Slovenia and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 0.950%, Iceland with 1.09% and Norway with 1.20%.
