Annual emigration reached 4,758 persons in 2012 in Iceland, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.12% less than in the previous year.
Historically, annual emigration in Iceland reached an all time high of 9,144 persons in 2008 and an all time low of 3,489 persons in 2000.
