Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2017, USA ranked the highest in electricity production from natural gas sources with 1,368,671 GWh followed by Russia and Japan. On the other end of the scale was South Africa with 1,879 GWh, Ukraine with 7,318 GWh and Poland with 9,803 GWh.
