Based on a comparison of 177 countries in 2021, Ireland ranked the highest in duration of primary education with 8.00 years followed by Denmark and South Africa. On the other end of the scale was Lithuania with 4.00 years, Slovakia with 4.00 years and Russia with 4.00 years.
